CradleDays (Ages Birth to 18 months)
This, bright, spacious, yet cosy, playroom is designed for babies. There is a large sleeping area within the playroom, not shown in photograph, and offers a large selection of appropriate toys and equipment. Your baby will be welcomed into a friendly, relaxed atmosphere where he/she will have opportunity for self discovery and planned activities under supervision from our qualified staff. We provide a safe environment that encourages social developent from an early age. Your baby's day and development will be recorded and discussed with you. Babies starting nursery will follow their own routine and gradually change into nursery routine - the sleeping routines are flexible and unique to each child. Babies are taken out for walks on a daily basis, weather permitting.

| FirstSteps (Ages 18 - 30 months)
This large, bright playroom caters for toddlers and offers a wide range of interesting and exciting learning experiences. A pleasant and secure base for the safe and stimulating development of your child's social and educational skills. In this more structured environment, the daily programme covers all areas of the child's development and is flexible enough to allow for potty training. Your child will learn primarily through play. The children make use of the nursery garden at least once or twice a day, weather permitting.

| PlayDays (Ages 2 1/2 - 3 1/2 years)
A large, bright room which offers a wide range of interesting and exciting learning experiences every day. Each day is different and your child will be encouraged in his / her development by working around five areas of the curriculum based on "themes". These are changed monthly and include topic such as "Myself and My Family", "People Who Help Us", "The Senses", "Children of the World" etc. The children make use of the nursery garden at least once or twice a day, weather permitting.

PlaySchool (Ages 3 1/2 - 5 years)
The daily routine in this bright, spacious playroom is more structured with a view to preparing your child for a happy, confident transition from Nursery to School. The children are encouraged to learn through play, discovery and investigation both independently and as part of a team. Included in the daily curriculum is pre-reading, pre-writing and early maths. We also include an introduction to French and weekly dance classes. As in PlayDays the activities are based on monthly "Themes" with a view to developing the children's communication and language skills, physical development and movement together with emotional, personal and social skills, knowledge of the world and expressive and aesthetic skills. The playroom also has its own computer which the children are taught to use and have daily access to. The children make use of the nursery garden at least once or twice a day, weather permitting.

Le petit francais (Ages 3 - 5 years)
Totally unique in Scotland, this playroom offers children the opportunity to learn the French language through a total immersion programme. The children, aged from 3 - 5 years, follow the same pre-school curriculum as the other nursery children but in French. The school is run by 2 French Tutors - one of whom is a qualified teacher and the other a native French woman who has been teaching French to Scottish children for years! This programme has proved very succesful - and very enjoyable - the children love it!
