Happitots Staff

At Happitots Day Nurseries we acknowledge that to ensure an excellent standard of care and attention for all our children the most important asset are our staff.

We pride ourselves on keeping our staff long term and many staff are mature mothers or grandmothers themselves. All Happitots staff are either qualified nursery nurses, registered nurses, teachers or undertaking training which will lead to a recognised qualification.

All the staff undergo a thorough induction and have regular appraisals to ensure that all Happitots policies and the highest standards of care are maintained across the group. Staff are encouraged to attend regular courses to update their skills and knowledge and a first aid certificate is essential for all qualified staff.

The managers in each nursery are highly trained in childcare and will each have, or be attending further management courses. The managers and senior staff meet on a regular basis to exchange ideas and experience and we are continually striving to maintain and improve our service, which has earned us the reputation of delivering excellent childcare across Scotland.
