The Baby Room
The Baby unit consists of four spacious playrooms where we can care for up to 48 under twos by experienced staff, (ratio 1:3). Each room is self contained and can accomodate twelve babies at various ages and stages of development.Staff follow the home routine of each child as closely as possible. There is a spacious play area and secure sleeping area.
Weather permitting the staff will take the babies out for walks each day so that they get as much fresh air as possible. Each baby’s day will be recorded in a diary for the parents to view on a daily basis.
Your baby will stay in the Baby group until they are on their feet, then they will be introduced to the adventures of the Tweenie group.

The Pre-School Room
We are recognised as a pre-school centre by the Education Department. Your child will spend their pre-school year in the purposefully laid out room where the day will be structured around the curriculum. In this area of the nursery our aim is also to provide a warm caring and secure environment, however in addition to this we see our role here to prepare the children for school.
Whilst the child is still very young and requires plenty of opportunity to play freely, emphasis is placed on learning through structured play and in small groups. The child will experiment with arts and crafts, spend time in the book corner, home corner (role play), cooking and singing and dancing to name but a few activities. In the computer area IT skills are taught at an early age where the children can take advantage of a selection of educational computer programmes The children also have the opportunity to participate in The Fun French club and dancing lessons.
