This room cares for babies from a few months old to 1 year of age. The staff provide a relaxing atmosphere with a wide range of toys and the babies are involved in simple painting activities. The babies have access to a garden they share with the older babies and they also are taken for walks along the paths around the nursery. Staff give feedback both written and verbal to parents on a daily basis.

This room cares for children from 1 year to 2 years of age . The children have a wide range of toys and activities to play with ie. puzzles, building blocks, construction toys, singing, art activities and a book corner. The children regularly go out for walks around the nursery as well as be able to play in the garden. There are cots for those children who have a sleep during the day and parents are kept informed on a daily basis about their child's progress.

The toddler room is for children aged 2-3 years and has a wide choice of activities available. There is a house corner, book corner and various table-top toys as well as water and sand play and creative activities. The children have story and singing times everyday and have access to musical instruments. They regularly go out for walks around the nursery as well as playing in the garden.

The 3-5 year old children have a large open plan room where a wide variety of activities take place. As the nursery provides commissioned places for pre-school children their activities are based around the pre-school curriculum and children are encouraged to choose what activities they want to be involved in. There is a good choice of construction toys, puzzles, games, creative and imaginative activities, story, music and house corners. Sand and water play are provided in our activity room and the quieter room has a computer where the children develop early computing skills. There are regular walks around the area and the children can use our secluded garden throughout the year.
