Childcare and Education / Training
BC Consultants are well known for their high standards and experience of delivery of
training to the Childcare Sector. This is a key area of activity within the Company and one
which deserves its excellent reputation.
The Team have worked extensively with Childcare Organisations and Nurseries
throughout the Borders and the Central belt of Scotland for nearly 10 years.
The range of Training Provision includes Vocational and ‘Soft-Skills’, all of which are
designed and delivered to achieve the highest standards possible within the sector and to
continually explore new innovative approaches to learning. Current initiatives include
development of a CD ROM and on-line materials.
Scottish Vocational Qualification (SVQ) and Modern Apprenticeships are available both in
Early Years (levels 2, 3 & 4 ) and Playwork (levels 2 & 3) in addition to a range of practical
short courses in related topics such as Parenting, Behaviour Management and Play & the
Play Environment.
